Rare Ginger Teddy Bear Of The Bee World Discovered

One of Britain's rarest and most endangered bumblebees has been found on a Worcestershire nature reserve.

The brown-banded carder bee (Bombus humilis) is generally only found in the south-east of England

It has now been found at the Wilden Marsh nature reserve, near Stourport.

Brett Westwood, one of those who revealed the bee, said: "Finding this rare ginger teddy-bear of the bee world at Wilden Marsh was one of the highlights of the year."
